Nutrasorb™ is an innovative, proprietary and cost-efficient platform to manufacture natural, good-tasting, nutritious, shelf-stable, food-grade, functional ingredients (Phyto-Powered Nutrasorb Matrices) that effectively deliver a powerful combination of phytoactives and protein to maintain health and wellness.
Currently available nutrasorb ingredients are made with soy, pea and whey proteins enhanced with phytoactives from apple, black currant, blueberry, cinnamon, cranberry, ginger, grape, green tea, pear, pomegranate and other fruits, vegetable and spices (see Products). Standardization is based on total bioactives complexed with protein.
Nutrasorb matrices are insoluble powders, which form suspensions in liquids. They can be incorporated into a wide variety of food, supplements and cosmetic products. Nutrasorb matrix can be manufactured as an all-natural, non-GMO, organic, kosher or vegan ingredient.
Juice left after sorption process is converted to BerrySweet™, an antioxidant-rich, great-tasting natural flavor and sweetener, which contains soluble proteins and is compatible with clear beverage application.
